We had our first strobist meetup in Evergreen at Elk Meadows Park. I was so happy to meet such a great group of people and to be around their enthusiasm is exactly what I needed. Here is a shot of us using sun and although you can't see it, there's a snooted flash giving Sarah, our model, a nice hair light.
The shot of Lee above is when we were messing around before the group made it there. I was using a speedlight to make a halo on the tree to separate lee from the background.

Sarah did such a fantastic job modeling. She is too cute. I seriously couldn't choose. I have like 60 great shots of her.And Lee was such a big help holding flashes and snoots and stuff. We had a good time. Can't wait till October's meeting in downtown Denver!
