Jennifer Leigh

Here are a few shots of the beautiful Jennifer Leigh. Jennifer is working on building her modeling portfolio and we were able to experiment with some fun lighting. The first two shots are lit with a really cool homemade light designed by my friend and fellow strobist, curtis.

Lexi's Christmas Party

My niece, Lexi, had a Christmas Party at her preschool and I volunteered to tag along and take some photos so that my sister could focus on more important things (like making gingerbread houses). Here are a few shots from the festivities.

and Santa even stopped by with goodie bags for all the kiddos.

What a fun way to spend the morning (and score some sweet sugary treats). My sister is a photographer herself, so I'm sure it was hard for her to not have a camera in her hands, but at the same time, she was able to focus on building that gingerbread house with her baby girl.

Ashley & Dixie

My other beautiful sister-in-law, Ashley, was another shoot from Arkansas over the holidays. We're expecting Dixie Jean to arrive around February 22nd and we can't wait. I'm so glad we got to take some fun shots while I was down because the next time I see Ashley, she won't have the belly anymore!






I'm not a huge fan of selective color, but I had to try it out on this shot. Dixie's room and bathroom have splashes of red, pink, green and black and white polka dots. very cute. It was so awesome that Ashley had these polka dot shoes. It worked out great for these shots.





What a beautiful mama. I know little Dixie is gonna look just like her.

Noah, Nikki and Mike

While I was in Arkansas, I had the pleasure of shooting some photos of our friends, Mike and Nikki and their sweet baby, Noah. What a happy child! It was so great spending time with them. Here are a few of Noah in front of the Christmas tree.
