We've had great weather out here ... fantastic sunsets and lightning.

Colorado Sunsets

One thing I've noticed is how rich the colors are in the evening Colorado sky. I've said it before and I'll say it again ... it's beeeeuuuuteeful here.

Our new roomy is quite the cook when he's not flying the friendly skies. I have to say, I'm well fed these days.

When It Rains It Pours

I originally bought this fountain to go on my desk at work, but it has yet to make it's way there. It is soooooo relaxing! Definitely worth the 20 bucks at Linens N Things. It runs nonstop from the time I get home till the time I go to bed.

Discovering New Locations

This is the beautiful chapel from the last wedding Karie and I had in Denver. It was absolutely gorgeous there. It's exciting to discover all the new areas around Colorado. I feel like I've been able to see and learn a lot in the past year. Leaving Arkansas was sad, but it's presented a great deal of opportunities. Speaking of which, I have like a billion posts to catch up on because I'm just getting adjusted to my new full-time gig.

One Light Lee

Back in March, I went to an awesome workshop in Salt Lake City called the One Light Workshop. A fantastic photographer from Atlanta, Zack Arias, puts on a few of these each year and I am so glad I went. The first photo is one we took at the workshop. The photo of Lee below it, is my first attempts at applying what I learned (almost 2 and half months later!). As you can see, I still have a long way to go, so hopefully I'll be posting more dramatic lighting practice throughout the month. I just need to find some more models!
