Day In The Life Of Maisie

Perhaps one of the cutest puppies ever - Maisie and I spent some quality time together during my trip to Memphis recently. I have so many good shots and I can't wait to get in the awesome book of Maisie's day that I just sent off to print. Mommy and Daddy are going to be so excited. Here's a sneak peak of our busy day.

Best BBQ Ever

Without a doubt, the best bar-b-que pork ribs I have EVER eaten ... Jim Neely's Interstate Bar-b-que on Third Street in Memphis . Not to be confused with the Neely's that has a tv series on the Food Network, Jim Neely's is a relative, but his bar-b-que is wayyyyy better. I have to say, I was really impressed and intend to return with Lee so that he can try it for himself. While in Memphis, I was able to visit another favorite of mine, Young Avenue Deli. Fantastic chicken salad or tuna salad sandwiches and awesome homemade cheese fries. If you're visiting Memphis anytime soon, I suggest you check out both restaurants. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Here are a few shots from Jim Neely's. Like most of Memphis, you gotta drive through the hood to get there, but it's so worth it.
